Welcome to Our Lady of Peace School

At Our Lady of Peace, we don't just educate—we inspire. Every day, we nurture intelligent minds through academic excellence, cultivate compassionate hearts through Christ-like service, and empower courageous voices to speak truth with kindness.

This is more than a school—it's a family. A place where students discover their God-given potential, where challenges become opportunities, and where every child is valued.

Welcome home!

Welcome Parents!

Welcome Parents!

Welcome to Our Lady of Peace School—a place where faith, learning, and community come alive, creating a haven where every child is known, loved, and inspired to shine.

We invite you to step onto our campus and feel the warmth that greets you the moment you arrive. Walk through our classrooms, meet our students and teachers, and experience the joyful spirit that makes OLP so extraordinary. For over 50 years, we’ve been a cherished part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and while we honor our rich history, we’re also embracing the future with hope, creativity, and faith. Since COVID, we’ve been RE-IMAGINING our school program and RECONNECTING with our community and beyond—crafting a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment where every child can grow into their best selves.

At the heart of our mission is a profound commitment to literacy. We believe every child deserves the tools to succeed—to read, write, speak, and listen with confidence and joy. Our approach sparks a lifelong love of learning, challenges students to dream boldly, and nurtures curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Grounded in our Catholic faith, we guide students to live with kindness, compassion, and purpose, shaping not just bright minds, but compassionate hearts ready to make a difference in the world.

Our community is a vibrant tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and stories. Students of Hispanic, Asian, African American, Caucasian, and other heritages learn and grow together, creating a space where everyone is celebrated, respected, and valued. Though small in size, our school is boundless in love and determination. Our dedicated teachers pour their hearts into every child, helping them discover and develop their unique, God-given gifts in a nurturing, family-like atmosphere.

But don’t just take our word for it—come and see for yourself. Talk to our parents, staff, and students, and let their stories show you the heart of OLP. This is more than a school; it’s a thriving, close-knit family, and we would be honored to walk alongside you in shaping your child’s future.

We can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and open hearts. Come and see why OLP is such a special place to grow, learn, and belong.

Responsibility

This Month's Tiger Pillar

Responsibility

This word comes from Latin and French, meaning “response ability.” Those who demonstrate responsibility “do what they say they will do”(DWTSTWD). They have the “ability to respond” when it comes to making commitments, decisions, and asking good questions when a project needs to be done. They tend to have self-discipline and manage their time well. They are trustworthy and work well with others. They meet deadlines, they do their work thoroughly, they do their part, and then some! They are able to think beyond the moment’s pleasure or temptation (EX: I don’t want to do this part of the project with my school group because I could go to the movies instead. But, I promised and it’s due, so I will keep my word and go to the movies later.)

Experience the community

Experience the community

At Our Lady of Peace School, you won’t just find a school—you’ll discover a family. Walk through our halls, and you’ll feel it: the laughter of students working together, the encouragement of teachers who know every child by name, and the shared pride of parents who’ve found a second home here. This is a place where faith, friendship, and belonging come alive.

From morning drop-off to school-wide celebrations, our community radiates warmth. Parents connect over coffee after Mass, teachers cheer on students, alumni return year after year—because OLP isn’t just a part of their story; it’s where their roots grew deep. Here, diversity strengthens us, traditions unite us, and faith guides us. Whether it’s a student-led prayer service, a multicultural potluck, or a simple high-five in the hallway, every moment reflects the joy of growing together.

This is what makes OLP extraordinary. It’s not just the education—it’s the people. Come see for yourself, and you’ll understand why so many call OLP home.

Love from Parents!

Gorge Gomez

My three children attended Our Lady of Peace School. Two of them already graduated and one of them in his last year. They all grew exponentially in their academics and their faith in God through OLP as one of my sons is on his journey of becoming a priest. I look forward for the future of OLP, I truly see the bright future God has in store for the school.

I currently have two kids attending Our Lady of Peace School. My oldest graduated from OLP, and thanks to the amazing teachers that made sure he was prepared for high school he is currently in an honors program. Thank you teachers and staff!

Esperanza Manzo

I have a daughter that Has been attending this school for 3 years and it’s a very good school, teachers are there to help their staff as well. They are taught a lot academically and in religion as well. Highly recommend . Thank you to teachers, staff, and priests.

Theresa Batac

I like this school because it is very welcoming and is a tight knit group of people. The classes here are all faith based and in having smaller classes students are given much more attention compared to other schools.
